At Amadeus Farm, we raise pigs with care, clean shelters and space to move, while steadily growing our sustainable, land-based feeding systems.
We currently support our pigs with high-quality purchased feed as we develop organic pastures and gardens using our own natural liquid fertiliser and LAB cultures.

About Amadeus Farm
A small, family-run farm near Riversdale, Western Cape.
Amadeus Farm is our family’s long-term project: a place where animals are raised with respect, the land is improved each season, and more of the pigs’ feed comes directly from what we grow ourselves.
Today, we raise our pigs with high-quality purchased feed while we expand our organic pastures and gardens. We use our own natural liquid fertiliser and LAB (lactic acid bacteria) cultures to support healthy plants without synthetic chemicals.
Our promises are simple:
- Prioritise animal well-being in everything we do.
- Grow more of our own organic feed over time.
- Use the whole animal wherever possible and minimise waste.
- Be honest and transparent about where we are on the journey.
